The British High Commission in association with The Union Jack Club Charity organised a sustainable fashion show, where four pioneers of Indian textiles Madhu Jain, Sonam Dubal, Sunita Shanker, and Suja Ayers of Pala Designs showcased their marvellous collections. Here are the highlights from the show.
The bamboo silk fabric used in Madhu Jain's creation looked lush and the models looked elegant in her creation.
There were kaftans in shibori and long kurtis in antique yoke seen in the designer's creation.
Designer Sonam Dubal's creation had a glamorous take on sustainability. His collection had a lot of patchwork and surface detailing.
The collection featured contemporary clothing for women that embodied the essence of Indian traditional crafts and textiles.
